The North High School Green Brigade is made possible by generous donations from our sponsors, parents, alumni (both past students and past band parents), and other volunteers.  Money raised and donated to the Green Brigade supports our operational costs throughout the year and our success would not be possible without these generous donations!

We believe that the ability to participate in the marching band program should be available to every kid, regardless of their financial status.  Consider sponsoring a “band kid,”  a scholarship opportunity to offset the participation fee for Green Brigade members based on financial need.

In addition to monetary donations, the Green Brigade welcomes donations of goods and services:

  • Food items, snacks, and drinks (water and gatorade) to feed/hydrate hungry Green Brigade members during practices, band camp, and contest days.
  • Food items and snacks to sell during various fundraising events such as the Husky Hot Rod Cruise-In, Green Brigade Invitational,  EVSC Summer Musical, and ISSMA Regional competitions.
  • Giveaway items for raffles.

If you are interested in a monetary or non-monetary donation to our organization, please contact Jay Emmert, Band Director, at
